I cannot hear others

When I am in the live collaboration room, I cannot hear what my room members are saying.

There are a few possible reasons that had caused this problem, such as:

  • Other members have turned off their microphone
  • Outdated Operation System (OS) version
  • Incompatible/Outdated Web Browser
  • Sound is muted in Web Browser
  • Speaker is not working

Check with others if they can hear one another

Check to see if you are the only person with this problem. One way is to communicate with others by typing into the typepad.

If all of the room members are unable to hear the sound from one person, that person might have muted their microphone. You can ask them to unmute it.

Otherwise, it could be that their microphone has developed an issue and your systems are working fine. If you suspect that it may be a problem with the other person's microphone, ask them to follow these steps to troubleshoot.
