My speaker does not work

My speakers cannot load, what should I do?

Having trouble with hearing the audio? It may be due to the following reasons:

  • Your speakers are off/muted
  • Your computer speaker or external speaker (earpiece/headset) is not connected properly
  • You have an earphone plugged into the audio jack

1

Before you begin

Refresh your ClassDo page. and check if the problem persists.

2

Make sure ClassDo is not muted

Check if the mute symbol is present on the ClassDo tab. If it is, right click on the ClassDo tab and click Unmute site

3

Check your volume level

In certain computers, there is a function key button that you need to press to turn the volume on. For example, for Lenovo laptops, it will be the "F3" key.

4

Check that speakers are connected properly

If you are using headphones/earphones, plug them out before plugging them back in. Please check if you have plugged it into the correct place. Please also ensure that your browser has access to your external speakers.

If you are using wireless headsets or earpieces, try to restart or reconnect them.

5

Check that speakers are not faulty

If you are using headphones/earphones and have spare ones, please try to switch your speakers/earpiece and check if the audio works with other speakers/earpieces. If so, it might be that your previous headphones/earphones are faulty.

6

Check the audio output

If you are using a Windows device, click the audio icon in the system tray. Then click the arrow and select the correct audio output that you would like to use.

7

Run the system diagnostic tool

If you are using Windows, you can launch the system diagnostic tool to help you troubleshoot.

Right click on the audio icon in the system tray of your Windows taskbar. Click Troubleshoot sound problems and follow the instructions displayed in the dialogue window that launches.
