Upload and Open Content in the Room (Desktop)
Share documents such PDF files and images to enhance communication and work on projects together in the virtual room.
Note that if you do not have the admin permission to "Rename, create/upload any content in the main room without host approval", you cannot upload files into the Room Library. You can only upload documents in your desk.

Upload Documents
Before uploading the document, you may want to check if you wish to upload it into the room library or your personal desk. This is just to keep the library more organised for you when you are looking for the files later.
If you are uploading into the room, you may also need to check if you are in the correct group as files in one group cannot be shared between one another.

Opening Documents from the Library
Click the ' +' icon to open a new tab.
Select PDF/Image under New in the pop-up window that appears.
If you have the file open in a folder, drag the file that you want to upload from your system file explorer and drop it into the pop-out window.
You can also click Select files to open the system file explorer to select a file.
Note that the supported file types for upload are .png, .jpg, .pdf and .gif. Microsoft office files e.g. Word documents, Powerpoint slides, Excel sheets (.doc, .ppt, .excel etc.) are not supported. You can first convert them into PDF files before uploading.
Click Upload to upload the files into the library.
If your file size is larger than 100Mb, you will not be able to upload your file. Please check out this article to reduce your file size.
Click Close.
The newly uploaded file will be automatically opened in a new tab. It will retain the original name of the file which was uploaded. To close the tab, you can click the 'X' icon on the tab.
Click the '+' icon to open a new tab.

The newest or most recently modified file will be shown at the upper left.
Select the file to call it out from the Library.

You can search for a particular file by clicking and typing the file's name into the
searchbar.
